General Acceptance Guidelines

Acceptable Conditions

  • Tears less than 1cm not in face area, serial number, denomination, or security strip
  • Stamps not on face area, if they don't cover serial number, face, or numbers
  • Random stains not on face, serial number, or denomination
  • New folds that don't alter original note shape

Unacceptable Conditions

  • Notes with detached hologram or security strip
  • Faded/damaged face image
  • Intentional writings (phone numbers, names, etc.)
  • Notes folded more than 3 times with fading or near tears on folds
  • Washed/faded notes with physical damage
  • Torn/physically incomplete notes
